A Living Love - a Giving Love

How do we make love more than just a word? Have you ever been told that someone loves you and it feels so fake or empty? Christ's love is a living love. How do we demonstrate that to the world?
By being Christ-like: not just empty platitudes, but actual giving of ourselves - our time, our energy, our resources. Christ is our example. He was poured out as a living sacrifice. I know that's not a comfortable position in our world, but we are not supposed to be comfortable in "this world". I don't want to get into "meddling", as it hits a chord with me. I don't do enough of sharing Christ's love.
