Just things that I think about now and then.

Favorite Vegetable - Time for vegetable ranking. What's your favorite and how do you like it? What's least favorite and why? Would you eat it a a formal dinner to be polite?

It's hard to choose just one veggie to go with, but I think I will go with cucumbers. I love them in salads, or just on their own. I've just recently heard them referred to as "salad cookies" which may be appropriate.
I like them by themselves, or with salad dressing as a dip (1000 island, of course). They can be added to water. I am assuming to make it more "refreshing" (?) Not my first choice...lol. I've also seen them used as a spa treatment, I believe to reduce swelling around the eyes. Again, this is not first-hand experience. I just like the crunchy-ness of them. And who doesn't like pickles? The cucumber is the base for the pickle, in most cases. I say that, because you can pickle just about anything, but for good ol' fashioned relish - it's the cucumber.

My least favorite? I guess I would say cooked mushrooms. I like them raw in a salad, but for me, cooked leaves an unpleasant textural feeling in my mouth. I've eaten them, for politeness sake, but I try not to bite them, if I can help it.

If you won the lottery, raffle or a gamble (e.g. slot machine), what percentage would you give to charity, if any, and what type charity would it be?

I've thought about this many times. It kills some time, as I don't play the lottery. But were I to win, I would want to give a sizable donation to the Ronald McDonald House in Grand Rapids, Michigan; where my youngest daughter spent a great deal of time back in 1999-2000 when she was battling cancer. Since we lived 4 hours away, this made it easier to get her to her appointments being in the vicinity. I would also like to donate money to St. Jude's Children's Hospital for their cancer research program. Cancer is an insidious disease. And while my daughter is a survivor, I lost one of my sisters, and a couple of aunts to this disease. Anyway, that is my thoughts on that.

Have you ever gotten tipsy, inebriated, or drunk? If you remember what happened, tells us about it. If you don't remember, make something up. If you never were, explain why you shouldn't be banned from the Banana Bar.

Well, I can honestly say that I've had a couple of times where I was tipsy, inebriated, drunk...It was for my birthday, and some friends came over and brought drinks. I remember at the time liking Jagermeister, so that was my go to drink. I'm not exactly sure how much I had to drink, but it was enough to do the "electric worm" to some music. One of my friends thought it would be great fun to video it, although I never got to see it. Apparently, it was too dark to really make it out well enough. Good thing, too, as I really don't need a video of me doing any kind of dance moves...scary thought *Shivers*. Anyway, that is the tale of shame. LOL.
