The Swing Set Got the Swing Thing going on, Baby


One day
A swing set
In a park

Was thinking
About the old song

“It doesn’t mean a thing
Unless it got that swing
Do wop, do wop, do wop”

The swing set smiled
Getting into the mood
Singing along
As it swung in the air.

Screaming out

“Hey I got this
I got the swing thing
going on, baby.
Do wop, do wop, do wop, baby!”

No one understood him
As humans unfortunately
Were deaf
To his singing.
