Week 46 - Wings
Wings of glass -
Lovely to behold;
But for all of their splendor,
Too brittle for flight.

Wings of wax -
Strong yet pliable;
However, do not
Fly to close to the sun.

Wings of angels -
Purity itself,
Messengers and guardians
Of heaven's gates.

Wings of prayer -
Strong, yet humble;
Selfless in service to others,
Reaching out towards the Creator.
