DESTINATION: a sonnet


[This world is a mirage. His is the real world and He the destination.]



This world is but really a mirage,
A passing show that is temporary.
Superficial is every visage
Though some people do have views contrary.

Those who think that the real world is this,
They dwell in it mentally all the time.
But those who think the real world is His,
Consider His worship their duty prime.

Those who worship Him follow His command,
To be helpful to all and love others.
If they don’t, they know He would reprimand;
For them it is His kingdom that matters.

Live life but entangled in it don’t be.
Don’t forget your destination is He.
