Shall I ever be afraid
Of all who put me down,
Unmindful that they themselves
Lack anything worthwhile?

Lowly may be my profile.
Empowered am not I.
Should I just because of this,
Surrender to others?

Let me be just left alone,
Engrossed in my own dream.
Gone are the anxious days when
I craved for others’ love.

O God, let my dream come true:
New path my life may take;
Serving you be my fate.
