Mantra

Today I am a tree, disguised as a wound.
Babalam, kevalam.
Yesterday, I was a forgotten country across the sea
in a jar of sand.
Om Shanti maha Lakshmi namoh namah.
Tomorrow I will be my hurried mind
stirred, not shaken.
Eenie meanie chili beanie.
Amen.
