A Cloud Shape
Cloud Shapes

One of the reasons I like partly cloudy days is the shape of the clouds. Clouds take on so many shapes. Some of the shapes are frightening, some are inspiring, and some are just ordinary objects. I have seen many different things in the clouds over my sixty some years of life.

A Cloud Shaped Like a Dragon

I just looked out my front door and I saw a cloud shaped like a dragon. The dragon cloud had its mouth open and was chasing another cloud as it it were going to eat it. The wind quickly changed the shape, but for a few minutes the dragon cloud chased another cloud across the blue sky.

An Archangel in At Sunset

I remember driving west on Charleston Boulevard several years ago. It was while Mom was still working at the Showboat, which was later renamed the Castaways (but that is another story and entry). I think we were going to a Feast that was being held at the Baha'i Center on West Oakey Avenue. I was driving because Mom had stopped driving by then, so I took her everywhere she went or she walked.

Anyway we were driving west on Charleston. We came to a stop light that was red so I stopped. I looked up at the sunset and I saw a huge cloud shaped like an angel. In my mind it looked like an archangel staring down on Earth. If I were superstitious I would have considered it an omen of something about to happen. I do not think it was an omen because nothing exceptional happened around that time, but it would make a good idea for a story.

Aeromacy

Aeromancy is cloud divination. I just learn this when I Googled information for cloud omens. I as a long question which I do not remember because I got interested in the information. I could have Googled something shorter, but I always ask complete questions when I Google something. I found a website that gives information so I saved the link in the template for the fantasy newsletter have have to post this weekend. Since I have not come up with any other idea I will use this. It should make a good newsletter.

I will have to figure an easier way to Google information. Writing long questions is too difficulty and time consuming when you want just a few bits of information. Perhaps I can use Cloud Omens or Aeoramacy; both of those will get me website that discuss the subject. According to the website I found, Aeoramacy is comes from the Greek words air, which is "aero", and divination. which is “manteia". I think I should be about to do something with this subject.

Aeoramacy
a romantic sounding word:
Do clouds foretell love?

I wonder if I could use this in the romance story I have to write this weekend. Maybe I could use a cloud shaped like cupid shooting an arrow. or a heart shaped clouds with an arrow through it.
