Day-drops 12/2/2015
Shimmering drops of silver light
Fall to earth in frenzied flight.
Shades of gray on blackened paths,
Dotted with silver, white and black
Transportation rolling past.
Brown naked bark reaches high,
Exposes nests against gray sky.
Patches of green dot the scene
More blackened paths lay serene.
In stark repose rain’s brackish light
Unfurls as day returns to night.
