Pi Day
Today was Pi Day, at least in America: 3-14. So, in a burst of appropriateness, my family went to a restaurant called Pie 5. Everybody is out for Spring Break so we were able to go for lunch. We had never been there before - it's fairly new. It's called Pie 5 because they make each person an individual pizza and it comes out in 5 minutes. They send it through this oven that evidently has a conveyer belt in in it because they put the pizza in at one end and it comes out the other all nice and cooked. Pretty good gimmick! The pizza was just okay to me. Anna Claire just loved hers. Maybe I just got the wrong one. Their desserts, though, are phenomenal. Oddly enough, Anna Claire and I got the same dessert and she didn't really like hers. I guess we just have different taste buds.

Afterwards, Emily wanted to go to Cups, a coffee place. My whole family except me loves coffee. I will drink it, I'm just more of a soda person. Well, since I mostly gave up soda, I am mostly an unsweet iced tea person. I did have a Mocha Hazelnut thingy today, which was delicious. Everybody seemed to enjoy theirs. The kids all got iced coffee, which I truly do not see the appeal of. It seems yucky to me, but whatever floats their little boats, right?

Matt got into All-State Honor Choir for about the fourth year in a row. He is practicing his music now. He sounds pretty good. His voice has changed and I am enjoying listening to him.

I figured out how to put a picture at the top of my blog. Go up there and look at my little dog, Jack. He got a bath yesterday, so he's nice and clean. He's a cutie, isn't he?
