God's Way, Not My Way
God's Way, Not My Way:
To the Blessed Beauty

God's way, not my way:
My first duty is to believe,
and my second to obey;
twin duties, inseparable.

In my struggle to obey
God's way rather than my way
my soul is strengthened in its obedience
to the divine laws and ordinances
revealed by the Blessed Beauty.

Each day,
I walk the narrow stone strewn road
of God's way, not my way...
sometimes I stumble,
sometimes I fall,
but through the grace of the living God,
and with the help
of the Blessed Beauty
I rise again.
