Feast of Glory
Feast of Glory:
To the Blessed Beauty

"Son of Man!
Upon the tree of effulgent glory I have hung for thee the choicest fruits, wherefore hast thou turned away and contented thyself with that which is less good? Return then unto that which is better for thee in the realm on high."

Bahá’u’lláh from The Hidden Words1

Gathered
beneath the effulgent tree
we consumes the Supper of the Lord.

Word by word
we sip the wine of glory
from the chalice of the Lord of Hosts.

Sentence by sentence
we eat the bread of majesty
from the fingers of the King of Glory.
