Reading the Long Healing Prayer
Reading the Long Healing Prayer:
To the Blessed Beauty

"He is the Healer, the Sufficer, the Helper, the All-Forgiving, the All-Merciful."
Bahá’u’lláh, Baha'i Prayers, page 91, first paragraph of The Long Healing Prayer

The house is silent,
no noise echoes form outside,
I inhale tranquility.

"O Lord of Joy,"
I call upon your healing,
I address you by the names
and attributes revealed
by the Blessed Beauty.

O Sufficing One,
I hear the echoes of the Holy Spirit
reverberating through the words of this prayer.

O Abiding One,
I give thanks for the ink of your healing,
that flows from the Pen of Glory.
