Prompt 3 ~ Why is friendship so important? Poem.
You, my dear friend, are there when I’m feeling low,
Making me laugh becomes the greatest treasure I know,
Pointing out my mistakes, even in my stormy moods,
Seeing me as I am, my true colors are always construed.

I can be difficult, so you lift my spirit and give me hope,
Thru much patience, you taught me how to survive, and cope,
With my feelings of regret, you still show me much respect,
Thru endless loyalty, love, devotion, my feelings you protect.

We both share life joys and life’s pains of emotions,
Our friendship has grown, it’s one of endless devotion,
Even when the world seems to grow darker with hate,
With your help, I’ve learned to carry my own weight.
