Fortuna

The goddess Fortuna
cares not for arete or cnota.
Her angst is not soothed
with consolations of philosophy.
She spins her wheel.
Today, the low are high,
tomorrow the tale changes.
So we ride life's vinyl groove
to our final fate.
The needle sticks,
one song
one song
one song.
