Poetry Wrote Over Several Years on Spiritual, Religious, and Devotional Subjects. |
1 My Sanctuary In the words of Baha'u'llah, I find a fortress safe and strong where the cares and strife of modern life neither linger nor belong. His words inspire my heart to find the love that hate conceals, His pen inscribes upon my spirit the faith that tests reveal. His verses are my sanctuary bestowing peace on mind and soul, His sacred scriptures God's book of laws to which obedience is my goal. 2 Healing Healing occurs In the silent hours When I reflect on Baha'u'llah's words 3 The Sacred Verses I see visions of a grea ter glory when I swim in the ocean of His words. I hear music of the spheres when I intone His verses. 4 Coffee with Baha'u'llah Word by word I read His Tomes: I drink His glorious brew from the mug of love. 5 Holy Grail I have found the Holy Grail in the writings of Baha'u'llah, in the Lawh-i-Aqdas-- the Tables to the Christians-- and the Kitab-i-Iqan. 6 His Prayers Magnets attracting the knowledge of God and divine assistance. 7 God's Voice The voice of God spoke through the Pen of Glory inscribing verses. 8 Reading the Summons of the Lord of Hosts Word by word I sip the wine of divine knowledge from the chalice of glory. 9 The Hidden Words The distilled essence of all past revelations: Wine of divine love. 10 Poet's Not: ▼ |
