| Well, the new assignment has been announced...I must write a newspaper article about a fictional local event. I have several ideas...I just need to decide on one. I worked for a newspaper several years ago as the office manager. The job did allow me to write a few articles, so it's not a new concept. Mostly, my duties included typing up the birthdays and anniversaries of the locals, as well as the school lunch menus from the three schools in the county, and delivering newspapers to all the businesses that sold them. It was a great gig but only lasted three months. The newspaper survived for 120 years, and then went belly-up after three months of me being here. Later, my boss from the newspaper started up a new paper and asked me if I wanted to have my own weekly column about crafting. I accepted. It paid in free advertising for my crafting business and was a lot of fun. Locals began to approach me in public to talk to me about my column. I felt a little famous. But then that paper failed as well... So, here we go...what to write about...
