In silent contemplation
my soul prepare for its daily confrontation,
with tests and difficulties.

Inhale the fragrance of morning,
its peaceful blue hue
gives no clue
to what the day has planned.

At noon I can brake.
from the choices
I have to make
and pause for a moment
of prayer
and meditation.

The gem
of my soul
takes a moment to file
the lessons its learned.

The term
of my physical life,
may be short
or long,
still I find time to enhance
the joy I encounter
with odes
the the All Glorious Lord.
