Celebrating the two hundredth Anniversaries of The Birth of Baha'u'llah and The Bab |
The Power of God: To The Bab "Say, the power of God is in the hearts of those who believe in the unity of God and bear witness that no God is there but Him, while the hearts of them that associate partners with God are impotent, devoid of life on this earth, for assuredly they are dead." The Bab1 There is no God, except God! Unknowable, save through the Mirrors of divine power, the Manifestations of Holy Attributes. Divine unity reflects the all-pervading power of the All-mighty to humanity through the conduits of the Holy Spirit; God's Chosen Ones who reveal the celestial might and authority of the Creator. Progressive revelation, and the common foundation of all religions establish the indomitable strength, ascendancy, and omnipotence of the Great Spirit, Allah, Jehovah-- whatever you call the Spiritual Essence that created the universe. In this day the transcendent power of the Creator is revealed through the Bab and Baha'u'llah-- the Manifestations of the Day of God. The Bab-- the bridge between the cycle of prophecy and that of fulfillment-- expressed all the attributes of God, such as power, might, and dominion, while proclaiming the coming of Baha'u'llah, the Glory of God.
