"October 10, 2019"   Prompt: "What are your pet peeves?"My pet peeve is people blindly following the religion of their parents. "It was good enough for mom and dad,it's good enough for me." That attitude doesn't work for me! Why is your religion good enough? Have you researched it's roots? Have you researched your religion at all? I am a Christian because history proves to me that Jesus Christ rose from the dead, not because my parents were Christian! I don't care what my parents believed. I stand on my own beliefs. It really irritates me when I ask somebody why they believe and they tell me they were raised that way. That attitude makes them like sheep. God wants us to know why we believe!      |
