Winter solstice in Las Vegas occurs Saturday, December 21, at 8:19 pm Pacific time. The day will begin to grow longer, and the sun's rays will grow stronger warming the atmosphere and bringing to my cold limbs spring's cheer. "The Winter Solstice is the time of ending and beginning, a powerful time -- a time to contemplate your immortality. A time to forgive, to be forgiven, and to make a fresh start. A time to awaken."
