Waiting
Sit and soak and wait right here.
Listen for His Voice.
In His time it's newly clear.
It's always by His Choice.

The filling you so much desire
will come by His own skill
to take you with Him ever higher
in the time of His own Will.

To wait is not a wasted hour.
To wait makes hearts restored.
To wait brings stronger grace and power
when waiting on the Lord.

The waiting time is for our good.
It makes us more like Him.
The Hope we hold more understood
makes the joy of heart to brim.
