| Prompt: What life lessons have you learned from books? I got a book on beauty tips and learned about wearing make up. how to dress and what accessories to wear and purses to carry. I have read diagnosis books and drug books because being in nursing, I wanted to learn more about these things and I have. I enjoy reading romance books an learned to write romance plus taking a couple of classes. I read books about mental health for my job. This helped me deal with the mentally ill. I have a cook book and had cook books to learn about cooking but I am no gourmet cook. I have read a book on sign language but didn't learn what I hoped to. I have books about scrapbooking and learned about scrapbooking and how to keep my memories preserved. In school, textbooks, you learned about history, government, socialism, math, English, writing, drama, music appreciation and what you learn in school helps you get through life.
