Where The Arrow Points
Sweet apples crisp
un-savored
         soon fall,
find hard ground,
         view
pale blue heaven,
         the wrinkling
                   V flaps,
a jagged arrow tip,
         befeathered.

The lofty ship
         aims haphazard for
open water
         further south
from this Autumnal Equinox
         to a sunnier
Winter Solstice.
