Genethliacum Ode to the Birth of Baha'u'llah

The light of dawn trumpeted your birth,
Announced to a sleeping world a new day--
Though all were deaf to the joyous news--
Proclaimed your nativity to all creation.

Your father's dream foretold your future glory,
Foretold a splendor that would outshine the sun,
Foretold a new divine revelation,
That would unite humanity.
