Spring Awakens

Dappled heads spring up over the freshly tilled soil.
Colours of pale purple, pink, blue, red and yellow
Gladden the world with pops of brightness.
They tickle a smile to emerge -
Bringing sunny back to a darkly, dim place.
Like the melting of snow,
They are most welcome.
