Not Even Ending Act Three

Yesterday was a terrible day at work. one of the worst that I have had in a long time. Especially, for it being a Thursday. Normally, Thursdays are kind of busy. But not as busy as it was yesterday. Unfortunately, it being very busy wasn’t the only problem I had when it comes to my writing or lack of it like it was yesterday.

Incident Reports are also a very big reason that I didn’t get that much writing done yesterday at work. true, I only wrote up one IR yesterday. But it should have been two. Only I’m not allowed to write IRs on a lot that I should be writing them on. That isn’t all bad, though. After all, I hate writing IRs. So, I don’t mind not doing it. But I also don’t like the reason why I needed to write them.

I only needed five more scenes to finish Act Three of the first part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And I shouldn’t have had any problems doing that at work yesterday. No matter how busy it got. I should have even started Act Four. Even if it was just the two Establishing Shots. But I didn’t get that many written. I only got four scenes written yesterday at work.

The only times that I have worse than this was when I worked at my old post or had a split shift with my old post or what I call the main gate. And during those times I didn’t get any writing done. True, they say any writing done is good writing. I do agree with that. But only four scenes aren’t that good. At least I don’t think that it is.

Today I’m hoping that I can do a lot better. It can’t get much worse. Now, can it? Of course, it can. But I hope that it doesn’t. True, it’s a Friday. And Fridays can get quite busy at work. Especially, during this time of the year. But no matter how bad it gets at work I should be able to get about seven to eight scenes written today. After all, three of them will be Establishing Shots.

After what happened yesterday, I’m not counting on anything until it happens. It seems that almost every day that something happens to me at work. Most people will call that paranoia. And maybe it is. But that doesn’t mean that it isn’t happening, though. Whether it’s paranoia or not, it sure does look like it is to me.
