Wasn't a Typical Wednesday
Wasn’t a Typical Wednesday

I was wrong again. It was seven with a re-write from last Saturday. No, it was six scenes that I wrote on Sunday for the first part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. That included my re-write. I didn’t do quite as well as I thought that I did last Sunday. But I made up for that today, though.

Yesterday, I did nine scenes for this project. If it were the weekend, I would say that wasn’t too bad of writing. But for a weekday it’s very, very good. At least I think that it is. If it’s five or six during the weekdays I consider it a good day. But nine is a whole lot better. So, why did I do nine yesterday at work?

A lot of the answer to that last question is within the question itself. It was work. They had quite a bit to do with me getting so much writing done yesterday. Not just because it wasn’t that busy, but because nothing happened there that was out of the ordinary.

Like I just wrote, work wasn’t a typical yesterday. It got a little bit busy during the last couple of hours. Especially, with me going outside my guard post. But during the first six hours, it wasn’t that bad. True, I did get kind of busy a few times during those hours. But it wasn’t that bad.

The weather slowed me down a little bit. But that didn’t stop me from writing. After all, I didn’t have to go out into it too often. I still did once or twice. But even that wasn’t too bad. It was very hot yesterday at work. in the upper eighties with the heat index into the low nineties. But it didn’t feel that hot, though.

Despite work and the weather not hurting me with my writing like it usually does, I’m still a little bit surprised that I got nine of them written. Because I don’t know how I did it. I just started writing. And once I started, I couldn’t stop. At least I couldn’t until work interrupted me. But that didn’t happen too often.

I just hope that I can do at least that many today. If not a couple of more. Normally, I would say that’s not possible since it’s a Thursday. But after yesterday I’m not so sure about that. I only need eleven more scenes to finish Act Three of this movie. And I don’t think that I will get that many done two days in a row. But I hope that I do.
