Ich schloss die Tür hinter mir ab und stellte meine Tasche auf den Tisch. Ich blickte vorsichtig nach draußen. Linette sagte: "da draußen ist momentan alles ruhig. Hoffen wir, dass das nicht die Ruhe vor dem Sturm ist."
Ich erwiderte: "ja, hoffen wir es. Hast du vielleicht ein paar Waffenhändler für mich in der Umgebung?"
Linette sagte: "klar doch, Naomilein. Einer von ihnen ist in einem Parkhaus ein paar Blocks weiter."
Ich machte mich sofort auf den Weg zu ihm. Mit nur noch einer Patrone sah die Sache nämlich nicht gut aus.
