Let there be Light

In the silence lingering
The longest time in the dark
For shape and sense I'm waiting
The moment of the Divine spark

Suddenly there is movement
Stars and planets formed
On pure blackness this improvement
Explodes inside a mind transformed

The currents of the universe
Inside me now, do ebb and flow
Breaking the stillness of the curse
Causing all things to glow

My heart warms and words form
I pick up paper and pen
write this poem in a brainstorm
of love, life and light, Amen
