Gardener of God
In Eden, Adam had it easy God told him to work the garden
In a place where everything thrived
And God was there to show him how
With the Fall everything became a struggle
Against a nature that was cursed
Where weeds strangled and frost killed
And sunshine made deserts of our souls Jesus showed us the Father who prunes the branches
Of the true Vine in which we now remain
The church seeks once more to be a Gardener
Who cultivates much fruit and growth
We are planting His seeds in every heart
That would receive His love
PROMPT: I am a Gardener of God,
Planting seeds where I go!

VERSE USED: John 15:1-4; Genesis 2:15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me."
