Mac and Mel
Mac and Mel walked 'cross the dell
to fetch the cook her water.
Mel ribbed Mac who teased her back
til both were roused to anger.

Mac chased Mel around the well
with peals of manic laughter.
Three violent spins and Mel went in,
Mac kicked the bucket after.
