My Heart Listens and Speaks
My Heart Listens and Speaks

The heart needing love
listened for the melody
of the Nightingale1 singing
in the Garden of Paradise.

My heart filled with light
and begin to speak
about the Glory of God2.

My heart continues
to listen to the Nightingale's song,
and to speak
through my poems and prose.
