Public Servants on track!
Yesterday, my 15-year-old had a track and field day at his school. It was a special needs event and there were probably 20 -30 police officers and close to the same fire department volunteers there to help with the event. That was awesome! So, my boy takes the hand of one of the officers and leads him all around the place. He also won a couple of first-place medals! He didn't want to get out of the fire truck when they let him inside it. I was worried I was going to have to crawl inside and get him but we finally got him out. Course, it wasn't long after that that he peed himself. Guess he got too excited. Old people do that all the time, I heard, so he is not alone. No biggie.

Anyway, it is good when people do things to help others. I wanted to make sure I wrote this down so I too would remember. Have a great day!
