Toxic

Your bitterness does not allow,
For another's opinion.
Your ego will not bow,
To truth, you want dominion.

Everything is about you,
And what builds you up.
You are more angry than true,
You handle criticism with a flare-up.

We tiptoe around you,
To avoid your toxicity,
When we are feeling blue,
We do not share our authenticity.

Words cannot reach your heart.
In anger, you turn red.
We try and do what is smart,
And pray for you instead.
