persistently traversed
when she lays her hands on the keys
vocal chords waxed wet
pain-pinged perplexed
why her/my other no longer...
no longer
that's as far as we get

imagine a wormhole back
but fire persists
and the other..

at least we have each other
or, i have caged
pain-pinged chords
bleeding inside my head
persistently traversing
her universe until
we've met...
