Tub
Woozy with drug, floating
in a rusted out tub

I don’t seem to drown
The water goes down

a ring around my neck
marks time wasted

in my fiberglass palace
much water displaced

Over time, skin dries
just like gill-slit eyes

marking murky time
in these temporary baths

Pass me another glass
More burgundy to pass
