Bruises

They show up one day
Colors of black and purple
To slowly disappear

More bruises

Deeper and bigger
More painful too
Leaving behind scars

Everyday life

Getting hit
Tears down my eyes
Trapped

Domestic Violence
Happens from behind
Don't ignore it
Let the cry be heard

Help is available
Future is uncertain
But good things can happen
To those willing to change
