The Love of Light and Shadow

Glowing brightly
A tree cast no shadow
Looks down on the grass
And whispers in wonder

Where is my shadow
I glow brightly
And see you cast a shadow
All I see from me is light

The grass then whispered
Amongst each other
To decide what to reply
And decided on what to say

Your glow is your shadow
It gives us our shadow
Without it we can't cast one
We rely on you

Pleased with the answer
The tree burst in tears
Realizing glowing matters
Giving sparkling gems
