How do you think Psalms 23 describes God's relationship with us and our relationship with God?


The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want: He takes care of us, just as a shepherd takes care of his flock.

He guides us, protects us, nurtures us, and corrects us if necessary.

We, on the other hand need to stay close to Him. To stay under his protection. We, like sheep, tend to wander and get into trouble. This is why we need to stay close, so that we may listen and be safe. Not saying there won't be trouble, but that we will be able to stand up under any trouble that comes.
