April 23 William's Long Stay
William's Long Stay

In Shakespeare's day
it was all about the play.
The script could sway
an audience this way
or another, sometimes gay
sometimes sad and grey.
Time has passed yet today
fan adoration still on display.
His written words replay
the reason for his long stay.
