I spot a plane flying just north of town. I recognize it as a WWII era bomber. I call the airport to report it, they send out an old Spitfire fighter plane to check it out.

I’m looking through the attic of my grandparent’s old house. I find a plastic bag of old letters and family pictures attached to photo album sheets. I realize they are pages from the old family album my grandmother gave me. These pages must have been left out when my grandfather re-covered the album years ago. I’ll take them home and add them to the book.

I’m selling my old 35mm camera to a friend. I tell him that there is still half a roll of film in it. I ask him to please save my pictures for me once he gets the film developed.

I find an old baseball-sized superball by the side of the road. I pick it up and bounce it as hard as I can. The ball goes flying across the street and breaks a neighbor’s window. I run away.

I’m hanging out with a friend of mine who is an astronaut. He is going up on the shuttle in a couple days. We stop in a convenience store to buy some snacks. He buys a Slim Jim, tells me “I’m taking this up with me. When I do my space walk I’m gonna let it go. What could be more American than putting a Slim Jim in orbit!”
