Thanks to a new innovation within the StoriesML processing system,
we've been able to add the above new codes while still increasing
the efficiency and performance of the system by more than 25%!

:: New Color System ::

To make it faster and easier for the StoriesML system to process colors,
we're making an important change:

Old Way: {violet} text {/violet}
New Way: {c:violet} text {/c}

This new system allows us to add more colors and features without adding
more stress to the Stories.Com servers!

We will keep the old color system active for about 6 months. At that time,
we'll send a script through and change all existing old color tags to the
new system. You won't have to do a thing to your old items. But at that
same time, we'll stop processing the old color tags, so you better be up
to speed on the new ones!

:: Randomly Rotate COLORS ::
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This new system allows you to randomly rotate colors in your items and
postings on Stories.Com! Just separate your colors by commas as seen
below:
         {c:blue,red,orange,green,violet} These colors rotate!{/c}
         These colors rotate!

(Color rotation will not work within Scrolling Messages.)

:: And Three (3) Brand New COLORS! ::

As we said above, the changes to the color system allow us to add
MORE colors... so here's a few to get your started:
         grey
         pink
         lblue (light blue!)

:: Your User Line Too Long? Try A Shorter One! ::
----------------------------------------------------------------------
While we're at it, we've noticed that more and more items with more and
more user tags are being written. (Conventionitis, anyone??) To help
clean up the look and feel of these well written items, we introduce the
new suser tag. S is for Short and as such this tag provides a cleaner,
friendlier, shorter display of a member's handle and portfolio icon.

For Example:
         {user:storymistress} -- The StoryMistress
         {suser:storymistress} -- The StoryMistress

To go along with all of these great, new changes, we've also updated the
StoriesML popup Help window. Remember this is always available from
within your Member Tools pulldown menu under "Author Tools".
