Welcome to 2003 @ Writing.Com!
Greetings, Members!

We want to be the first to welcome you to 2003 @ Writing.Com!
Please take a moment to read through this email as it is filled with important
information on changes and improvements throughout our site.

:: Writing Off A Few Changes ::
As you'll notice, there are plenty of changes, with our new logo being the biggest.
We've removed the bookshelf of "stories" and replaced it with a working desktop
incorporating both writing and reading.

The "Read" and "Write" pages have been replaced with easier to understand
Reading and Writing screens. We have organized the Item Types on these pages
to better help new members and visitors navigate and understand Writing.Com.

We have also updated the coloring of itemicons, removing the old purple in favor
of our new Red and Green. Item Types with Red icons are Writing.$
non-interactive formats. Green icons signify interactive items that are sure to
involve the reader, in most cases getting them to do a little writing of their own.

For a cleaner look, we moved the Site Navigation pulldown menus to the left side
of the screen. For quicker access to the utilities you need, we've separated
Authors Tools+ into its own pulldown. In addition, the IM Console link has
been moved to its rightful place in the "Member Tools" menu.

You will notice many other enhancements around the site. An improved color
scheme, more uniformity among different areas on the site and an updated Gift
Point and My Account area, just to name a few. Look around and you're sure to
find many more!
