New Genres, Forum Threads & More!
Greetings, Members!

We've added several new genres for items and improved message threading in
posts. In addition, please read further for more information on changes regarding
our Journal item type.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Free Publishing Basics @ http://www.publishingbasics.com/current/
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This free newsletter is intended to educate the self-publisher in the basics of
publishing. Once a self-publisher purchases his/her own ISBN numbers, he/she
has become a publisher. The difference between a new publisher using a first
ISBN number and Random House, is merely the number of titles in print.
Publishing Basics will help prepare you to be a successful publisher.

:: 4 New Genres ::
To fill a few gaps that were missing from our already extensive genre list, we're
introducing four new ones:
         Community
         Reference
         Self Help
         Tribute
We now have 89 genres total. Please be sure to update any of your items that
might fit into these new genres.

:: Message Forum Threads ::
Following a thread of forum posts is often difficult in our "conversation-like"
message forums. To help alleviate this problem, direct replies to a certain post
are now listed for you at the bottom of any post you are reading.

Since our servers must check each message viewed for replies, this feature is
reserved for our members with Upgraded or Premium Membership.

:: Journals Reserved For Upgraded & Premium Members ::
Our Journal item type is now reserved for Upgraded and Premium members
only. Unfortunately, too many of our free members are abusing journals, using
them to store more than the 15 items their membership allows. Free members
with existing journals may keep them, provided they are not being used for any
illegitimate purposes.

:: Love/Romance costumicon Subscriptions ::
costumicons are once again available for purchase! This subscription will last
through noon on February 17th, 2003. Subscribe to or change your current
