Last night, while on the phone with Shane, his friend was pestering him to go somewhere but Shane wanted to talk to me. His friends are going to hate me. I don't want that. Yea, he likes me, but I don't want people to think I have him whipped. I don't do anything. I'm no like Fonzie. I don't snap my fingers and guys rush to my aid. Shane just likes me. He likes me a lot. It's his choice to talk to me.

If he screws me over, so help me God, I will kill myself. That would hurt a lot. <sigh> I just like this guy a lot and I'm not all that attached. There's something different about him.

For one thing, my mother likes him. She actually likes the boy I like. And he checks up on me. When I came home from Melissa's yesterday and I took a shower and he'd called to check to make sure I got home ok. Isn't that considerate?

He couldn't have come at a better time.
