The Truth

Today, I sat beside you,
but I still wasn't able to say, "Dear, I love you."
I laughed while you spoke,
and blushed at a private joke.
Everyone knows how I feel,
everyone knows it is real.
Although I try to hide the truth,
through my eyes flow the loving truth.
But here, at last, I let my heart go,
without the fear that you'll soon know.
I love you and I continually pray,
that God will let you love me the same one day.
