New Review Incentives and Emoticons!

:: Brand New Emoticons ::
Thanks to The StoryMistress , we've got a bouquet of new emoticons:

  'flower1' thru 'flower6'

These emoticons have been added to our WritingML help section. Remember,
you can find help on using emoticon and WritingML from the "Author Tools"
pull down menu in the "WritingML Help" section.


:: Introducing Daily Review Rewards ::
To encourage members to provide each other with meaningful feedback for more
items, we've created Daily Review Rewards! Shortly after midnight of each
day, an automated system will total up the number of "qualifying" reviews given
by each site member for the previous day. Gift Points will be automatically
rewarded based on the following scale:

            3+ Qualifying Reviews   =      15 GPs          
            5+ Qualifying Reviews   =      50 GPs
          10+ Qualifying Reviews   =    150 GPs
          15+ Qualifying Reviews   =    300 GPs
          20+ Qualifying Reviews   =    500 GPs
          25+ Qualifying Reviews   =    750 GPs
          30+ Qualifying Reviews = 1,050 GPs

A "Qualifying" Review is any review (public or private) that is 250 characters or
more in length.

:: Introducing Auto-Reward GPs ::
Automatically reward Gift Points to Reviewers of an item using the Auto-Reward
Gift Points setting found within the item creation and edit screens. Reviews must
be 250 Characters or greater to qualify for the automatic reward. Qualifying
reviewers will be rewarded the Gift Points automatically and instantly from your
personal Gift Point account.

To help members find items that provide Auto-Rewarded GPs for reviews, we've
created a listing of all items that pay reviewers for their efforts. The new
found at the top of each page links directly to the complete listing of these items.

In addition, all public listings can be re-sorted as "Best Reward First". This
is a quick way to find the items paying the most for feedback. Under each item
that provides Auto-Rewarded GPs, readers will find:
          Auto-Reward: Item's author pays reviewers X,XXX GPs per review

This new addition brings a new tool to both members looking for more detailed
reviews as well as those members looking to earn GPs for memberships and
sponsorship through their reviewing!

:: Introducing The Review Character Counter ::
So that members can quickly tally the number of characters in a review, we
have added a small character counter just below the review form. As you
type in your feedback, the counter will show how long it is. We've also added
the character count for each review listed on the Public Reviewing page and
within your "My Feedback" area.
