Though life has not treated you well,
Why must you lose all hope?
Through work and luck, there is always,
Of rising further, scope.

Often for our own misfortunes,
We are to blame ourselves.
God lends helping hand only to
Those who do help themselves.

Don’t feel defeated in your life.
Why do you feel so tired?
Bear Him in heart and by His zeal
You shall be truly fired.

It’s not work but it is worry
Which saps all energy.
Give up worry, have faith in Him,
Despondent never be.
