Back Again
We worried so much about you. 'Her' voice quavered in relief. You didn't have to go to the mountains or the desert.

"But I did see jungle. And I'm still here." The young woman stood straighter, held her head a little higher after what she'd been through. Anyone would.

Don't get too cocky. You've a long way to go yet.

"I know it. But still, I did what I thought was impossible."

And you're still standing in spite of it all. Bravo, Little One! The young woman saw 'Him' smile in spite of himself, a rare thing, but an expression that was apropriate given her close shave.

"Thanks. Thank you both." The young woman grinned back.
